The Devil's Match
White Space was initially contacted by The Foundry Communications, acting on behalf of Casillero del Diablo, the internationally renowned wine company and a primary sponsor for Manchester United Football Club. Initially commissioned to provide a 10m immersive projection tunnel as part of a Devil’s Match theme for the day, our first challenge was to deliver a projection product, at an external location at Old Trafford in broad daylight!
As discussions progressed and the client’s creative thoughts developed further, we were tasked with creating a wine cellar environment in keeping with the sponsor’s product, but integrated with the projection tunnel attraction. What ensued was a theatrical experience of special effects including sound, projection, mist, lights and even smell.
Delivered on a match day, in a large marquee, the client’s aspiration was to create a experiential environment for both fans and sponsor. We are pleased to say that it went down so well, that we have been approached to possibly replicate a similar event in the Far East.
