The aim of the campaign was to raise awareness amongst all citizens on the importance of taking an active approach to cybersecurity in order to protect their individual rights (Cybersecurity for All), their businesses and professional activities (Secure Your Business), and the Internet as an ecosystem in which to thrive (Secure Your Digital World).
WSCS delivered 12 virtually recorded videos that formed the backbone of this initiative along with live footage of the BT tower carrying the GCA messaging. These images were rapidly edited and uploaded as part of the online campaign deployed on the day. The videos were recorded virtually from presenters located in the UK, Europe and the US in the hight of lockdown. This was at the time a very new experience for all involved and for many of the participants it was their first experience of being interviewed and filmed online.
